pCS levels were positively associated with age (p = 0.008), non-Mediterranean residency (p<0.001), serum albumin (p<0.001), urea (p = 0.038) and iron therapy (p = 0.034) and negatively associated with the diagnosis of glomerulopathies (p = 0.008), eGFR (p<0.001), uric acid (p = 0.002) and physical activity (> 4 hours per week, p = 0.044).
