In a multivariable Cox regression model, older age, male sex, diagnosis of tubulointerstitial disease or post-AKI CKD as well as the presence of proteinuria, higher systolic blood pressure, lower baseline eGFR, higher serum phosphorus, lower serum albumin and hemoglobin levels contributed to a higher likelihood of reaching the composite endpoint (Table 3 and Model 0, total cohort, Table 4).
