As was shown in the study, the driver genes of COPD aggravation, including HP, ADRB2, LCK and CA1, could extensively regulate COPD complications, and that obesity, lung cancer, diabetes and pulmonary hypertension were the four complications that bore the closest relationship to COPD aggravation at the molecular level. This evidence concerns the gene CA1 and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
