Figure 2 shows that mutations in EGFR and BRAF as well as EGFR and ERBB2 were mutually exclusive, which has also been described in primary NSCLC tumors [31]. Two patients (P07 and P12) had detectable EGFR and KRAS mutations, while KRAS and ERBB2 mutations were identified in two other patients (P20 and P21). One patient (P13) had activating EGFR mutation and PIK3CA mutation and another patient (P23) displayed a KRAS and PIK3CA mutation. Here, PIK3CA is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
