A study using the public database GENT2 (http://gent2.appex.kr/gent2/) to analyze the expression levels of CKS1B in various cancer types revealed that CKS1B expression levels in brain, colon, bone, ovarian, pancreatic, liver, and lung cancer samples were significantly increased compared with those in healthy tissue samples (24). The gene discussed is CKS1B; the disease is lung carcinoma.
