Previous studies reported that mTOR pathway (38), GSK3 pathway (39), AKT pathway (40), EIF4 pathway (41), MET pathway (42), NFAT pathway (43), and FAS pathway (44) acted as essential factors in the development of renal cancer and that CHREBP2 pathway (45), EDG1 pathway (46), and CTCF pathway (47) were also cancer-related pathways. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and renal carcinoma.
