In this study, NF-κB p65 activity in the peripheral blood, as well as the expression of IL-17, IL-6, and TRAF6 in serum, was increased in CRF patients, suggesting that the immune dysfunction of CRF patients can promote a high expression of IL-17, IL-6, and TRAF6, thus activating NF-κB signaling pathway and causing renal diseases. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and kidney disorder.
