In recent studies, albumin has become a common indicator for predicting survival of a variety of cancers, such as osteosarcoma, renal cell carcinoma colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and prostate cancer (Yi et al., 2014; Chen et al., 2015; Nazha et al., 2015; Chi et al., 2016; Hiraoka et al., 2016). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and colorectal cancer.
