NF-κB is present in many eukaryotic cells, widely involved in many physiological processes in humans, and related to many diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and fatty liver disease (Lee and Ambros, 2001; Gommans and Berezikov, 2012; Ge et al., 2016; Bazazzadegan et al., 2017). The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is Parkinson disease.
