To date other three HDAC inhibitors have been approved by FDA: Romidepsin (FK228)16 in 2009, Belinostat (PXD101)17 in 2014 for the treatment of CTLC or Peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL), and Panobinostat (LBH589)18 in 2015 for Multiple myeloma and CTCL. The gene discussed is HDAC9; the disease is primary cutaneous T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
