The evidence indicates that the former three are important elements in angiogenesis: MUC4 is a key factor in mediated tumor angiogenesis and metastasis of pancreatic cancer [37, 38, 39], SUSD2 promotes tumor angiogenesis in breast cancer [40], and ISM1 promotes angiogenesis depending on its physical state in vivo [31]. This evidence concerns the gene MUC4 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
