Interestingly, the clinical phenotypes of SOCS1 insufficiency and STAT3 GOF mutations have some common features (including lymphadenopathy and autoimmune cytopenia) but also possibly differences (SLE in SOCS1 insufficiency vs. enteropathy and diabetes with STAT3 GOF mutations)20,21.
