We estimate that targeting this single VGLL1 epitope could potentially benefit a large number of Western cancer patients, including over 20% of patients with ovarian, bladder, or basal-like breast cancers, ~12% of patients with PDAC, and 5–8% of patients with lung, stomach, cervical, uterine, or head and neck cancers (Fig. 3). The gene discussed is VGLL1; the disease is breast cancer.
