APOA1 and rheumatoid arthritis: Recent studies from our group have shown that elevated serum levels of ApoA-1 antibodies (anti-apoA-1 IgG) can predict unfavourable cardiovascular events in patients with myocardial infarction (MI) [17,18,19], severe carotid stenosis [20,21], rheumatoid arthritis (RA) [22], and also in the general population [23].
