Gasco, Shami & Crook (2002) concluded that molecular pathological analysis of specific components of p53 signaling pathway may be helpful for the diagnosis and prognosis of breast cancer. In addition, it has been found that signal transduction pathways such as Tyrosine metabolism, Progesterone-mediated oocyte maturation and PPAR signaling pathway may also be associated with the occurrence of human cancers (Chen et al., 2012; Liu & Ye, 2017; Pietras et al., 1995). The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is breast cancer.
