Using the 5 patients with both normal and cancer cells profiled, we estimated the frequency of inactivation of all 56 colon-specific TFs across the 5 patients, which revealed that CDX2 and TRIM31 were inactivated in 80% of the patients, whereas ATOH1, HNF4A, CDX1, and TBX10 were inactivated in 60% (Supplementary Fig. 20). Here, TBX10 is linked to cancer.
