In breast cancer, prognostically favorable tubular carcinomas and the heterogeneous subgroup of phyllodes tumors—with a wide range from benign over borderline to malignant types—showed a distinct higher percentage of total TXNIP-positive tumors (50.0% and 63.0%, respectively) compared to the prognostically more unfavorable other subtypes (Figure 2b).
