In the present study, integrative analyses of LC-MS/MS-based lipidomics, RNA-Seq and ChIP-Seq together highlight that CRC factors converge on regulating key enzymes responsible for the biosynthesis of fatty-acids (FASN, SCD and ACLY), sphingolipids (SPTLC1, DEGS1 and UGCG) as well as glycerophospholipids (LPIN2). Here, UGCG is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
