We therefore examined lymphocyte subsets and found that PPP patients had significantly lower numbers of CD3+ T cells (p = 0.001), CD4+ T cells (p = 0.005), CD8+ T cells (p = 0.003), and B cells (p = 0.005) than PPN patients (Fig. 1A,B). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and palmoplantar pustulosis.
