Two SNPs were significantly associated with prostate cancer risk [rs1330286 in ALDH1A1: odds ratio (OR) = 0.88, 95% confidence interval (CI) = 0.83‐0.94, p = 2.45 × 10−4; rs4646653 in ALDH1A3: OR = 1.17, 95% CI =1.07‐1.27, p = 4.33 × 10−4]. The gene discussed is ALDH1A1; the disease is prostate cancer.
