GPT and steatosis: At 4 days p.i., when ALT levels were increased, a large proportion of WT hepatocytes are actively responding to CVB3 infection; oil red O staining of vibratome sections identified steatosis, indicative of alterations in lipid metabolism (Fig. 4c), and the F-actin cytoskeleton of many WT hepatocytes was disordered (Fig. 4d).
