Importantly, we observed that such focal adhesion-RNP complexes were also detected among other types of human malignancies such as lung, colorectal, and pancreatic cancers (Fig. 5 and Supplementary Figs. 5 and 6); implying that humoral immunity against the focal adhesion-RNP complexes would also dominate in various cancer environments across multiple organs.
