Indeed, in cerulein-induced AP, a significant increase in serum levels of amylase (Figure 3A), lipase (Figure 3B), IL-1β (Figure 3C), IL-6 (Figure 3D), and TNF-α (Figure 3E) was observed compared to the sham group; administration of cashew nuts significantly ameliorated all the above inflammatory markers.
