The 35–55 epitope of rat MOG (MOG35–55: H-Met35-Glu-Val-Gly-Trp-Tyr-Arg-Ser-Pro-Phe-Ser-Arg-Val-Val-His-Leu-Tyr-Arg-Asn53-Gly-Lys55-OH) induces chronic EAE in mice of the C57BL/6 strain and is widely used for in vivo biological evaluation and immunological studies relevant to MS treatment [26,27,28,29]. This evidence concerns the gene MOG and myeloid sarcoma.
