In this contest, our group previously reported that TRAP1, a HSP90 molecular chaperone responsible for several key functions in human carcinogenesis [10,11,12,13,14] and upregulated in about 60–70% of human CRCs [15,16,17], favors stemness maintenance in CRC cells modulating Wnt/β-Catenin pathway [18]. The gene discussed is TRAP1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
