Furthermore, the intracellular ROS levels were significantly lower in the control and PCOS oocytes treated with 1 (103.9 ± 11.46 vs 165.4 ± 12.86, p = 0.023 and 141 ± 13.85 vs 220.21 ± 6.97, p = 0.0067) and 50 (94.7 ± 17.0 vs 165.4 ± 12.86, p = 0.0081; 131 ± 12.19 vs 220.21 ± 6.97, p = 0.0035) μg/ml NSE as compared to untreated oocytes, respectively (Figure 2).
