Recently, research has demonstrated that RAC3 is up-regulated to serve as an oncogene by promoting cell proliferation and cell aggressiveness in several cancers including breast cancer (Chan et al., 2005; Gest et al., 2013), prostate cancer (Engers et al., 2007), brain cancer (Hwang et al., 2005), and lung cancer (Liu et al., 2015; Zhang et al., 2017). Here, RAC3 is linked to cancer.
