CRP and COVID-19: Rong-Hui et al. conducted a prospective study to evaluate the different predictors of mortality in 179 COVID-19 patients and concluded that non-survivors (n=21) had a higher level of C-reactive protein (mean=86.4mg/L-1; range=39.9−105.5) than survivors (n=158) (mean=36.0 mg/L-1; range=19.3−91.0) with p=0.012 [18].
