From Figures 6(c) and 6(d), it can be observed that compared with the CDAA group, the expression of FAS protein in the liver of the CDAA+SL group was downregulated (P < 0.05) and the expression of p-ACC protein was upregulated (P < 0.01), suggesting that SL can reduce the activity of liver lipid synthesis in NAFLD rats established by choline deficiency. The gene discussed is FAS; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
