As shown in Table 1, the results indicated that both PD-L1 expression levels and FOXP3+ Treg infiltration were statistically significantly associated with depth of invasion (rs = 0.472, P < 0.001; rs = 0.277, P = 0.028), lymph node metastasis (rs = 0.375, P = 0.002; rs = 0.483, P < 0.001), distant metastasis (rs = 0.395, P = 0.001; rs = 0.274, P = 0.03), and pTNM (rs = 0.556, P < 0.001; rs = 0.542, P < 0.001), but not associated with age (rs = −0.121, P = 0.345; rs = 0.065, P = 0.615) or gender (rs = 0.005, P = 0.967; rs = 0.015, P = 0.908). Here, CD274 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
