Kisspeptin has been recognized by its important role in GnRH secretion initiation at puberty, regulatory secretion of LH during ovulation process, and its relation to PCOS was found to be implicated in the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovary axis disturbance observed in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) [15]. Here, GNRH1 is linked to polycystic ovary syndrome.
