IHC staining for two of the differentially expressed proteins—transglutaminase 2 (TGM2) and l-xylulose reductase (DCXR) was performed on 9 SAGN biopsies, 6 IgAN E0 biopsies, 6 IgAN E1 biopsies, and 6 ATN biopsies (etiologies being vancomycin toxicity, thrombotic microangiopathy, rhabdomyolysis, oxalate nephropathy, and minimal change disease), Fig. 5A–H. The gene discussed is TGM2; the disease is thrombotic microangiopathy.
