As damaging variants in these genes cause congenital diaphragmatic hernia (Kardon et al., 2017), these data imply that GATA6 haploinsufficiency causes diaphragmatic dysgenesis by disrupting NR2F2 and ZFPM2 gene programs (Supplementary file 2).
