Conversely, much less is known about the role of the other p38 proteins (p38β/γ/δ) in cancer, although recent studies have shown an important role of p38γ/δ in cancer [71,72], however, further studies are needed to elucidate the definitive role of these two p38 proteins in cancer pathology (for a review see [73]).
