Furthermore, the contrasting pro-migratory effect of KCTD5 observed in fibroblasts and zebrafish [40] compared to the KCTD5 negative effect on migration of melanoma cells and breast cancer cells (Figure S1) here reported, raises the additional question about how the cellular context impacts in the KCTD5 role on cell migration-related mechanisms.
