RUNX2 and acute myeloid leukemia: Primary AML cells treated with DDA–idarubicin showed a massive accumulation of cytoplasmic macrovesicles visualized by MGG staining (Figure 4B) and increased in MOLM-14, OCI-AML3 and KG1a cell lines [12,13], compared to each drug alone, the levels of LC3-II, which is the only protein marker that is reliably associated with completed autophagosomes [14].
