Consistent with previous reports, differential expression analysis revealed significant up-regulation of antimicrobial peptides (S100A7, S100A8, and S100A9) and pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL36G and IL36RN) in psoriatic KCs (Figures 6E–6F; Table S6) (Li et al., 2014). The gene discussed is IL36G; the disease is dry eye syndrome.
