However, salivary tADA, as well as both isoenzymes ADA1, and ADA2, were statistically higher in the dogs with leishmaniasis, showing moderate correlation with serum ferritin (r = 0.60, P < 0.01, for tADA; r = 0.56, P < 0.05, for ADA1; and r = 0.63, P < 0.01, for ADA2). Here, ADA is linked to leishmaniasis.
