At the same time, there was a significantly negative correlation of ACAT1 acetylation levels in PCOS granulosa cells with 2PN fertilization rate and rate of transferable embryos (Figures 6B,C), indicating that increased ACAT1 acetylation in granulosa cells affected the ovarian metabolic microenvironment and inhibited oocyte quality and embryo development efficiency. The gene discussed is ACAT1; the disease is polycystic ovary syndrome.
