Leptin concentration was unrelated to risk of colorectal cancer (IVW OR per 1 ng/mL increase in log‐transformed leptin concentration: 0.99 [95% CI = 0.62‐1.57]; P = .96), pancreatic cancer (OR = 0.39 [95% CI = 0.11‐1.37]; P = .14), RCC (OR = 0.93 [95% CI = 0.35‐2.44]; P = .88), ovarian cancer (OR = 1.78 [95% CI = 0.93‐3.38]; P = .08) and endometrial cancer (OR = 1.46 [95% CI = 0.69‐3.06]; P = .32) (Figure 1 and Table S4). This evidence concerns the gene LEP and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
