In our current study, we identified several miRNA for VENTXP1 through a public database, and RIP and luciferase assays confirmed that VENTXP1 might act as a sponge of miR-205-5p to inhibit the expression of certain miRNAs through directly binding to them in HNSCC cells. This evidence concerns the gene VENTXP1 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
