Given that VENTXP1 was enriched in the cytoplasm, we further explored whether VENTXP1 may serve as a platform for the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) catalytic subunit Argonaute 2 (Ago2) and acts as a ceRNA during the proliferation process of HNSCC cells.
