A post-hoc analysis of prospectively collected data from the participants of the LUX-Lung 2, LUX-Lung 3, and LUX-Lung 6 trials showed the clinical activity of afatinib in patients with advanced uncommon EGFR mutation-positive NSCLC, especially G719X, L861Q, and S768I. Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
