Two capsules of 500 mg of this compound treated on premenopausal women diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) for 90 days enriched in approximately 40% furostanolic saponins and the significant increases in luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels were observed compared to the baseline values.
