CCNE1 is found to be an oncogene in multiple cancer types, such as gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, and NSCLC (Etemadmoghadam et al., 2010; Amininia et al., 2014; Pils et al., 2014; Kim et al., 2016; Noske et al., 2017). This evidence concerns the gene CCNE1 and Familial prostate cancer.
