Osman MM conducted a study on the efficacy of 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT imaging for 764 patients between 2013 and 2016.[14] Only 0.7% (5/764) of the patients with high PSMA uptake lesions had a second primary tumor and these included lung adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, diffuse large B lymphoma, papillary thyroid carcinoma, and oral squamous cell carcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene FOLH1 and neoplasm.
