Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction analysis of CDX1/2 genes in 270 tissue specimens including 90 patients with GC, 90 patients with dysplasia, and 90 normal control subjects, showed that the expression level of CDX1 in the dysplasia group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the expression level of CDX1/2 in the GC group was significantly higher than that in the normal control group.47 The gene discussed is CDX1; the disease is dysplasia.
