Western blot analyses revealed that the transduction of miR-522-3p into paclitaxel-resistant ovarian cancer cells inhibited the phosphorylation of RB, followed by E2F2 knockdown (SKOV3ip1: 0.16-fold, HeyA8: 0.11-fold), without changes in the expressions of other cell cycle proteins, such as cyclin D3, CDK4, CDK6, p16, and BMI1 (Fig. 6A). Here, CDK4 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
