MiR-506 inhibits the proliferation and invasion of i) colorectal cancer by targeting ubiquitin-like with plant homeodomain and RING finger domains 1 (UHRF1) via the KISS1/PI3K/NF-kB signaling axis and ii) nasopharyngeal carcinoma by targeting Forkhead box Q1 (FOXQ1), and is also epigenetically silenced in pancreatic cancer42–44. This evidence concerns the gene KISS1 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
