GAD65-positive encephalitis was diagnosed in a woman with depressive syndrome, cognitive impairment, and autoimmune polyendocrinopathy–candidiasis–ectodermal dystrophy (APECED) syndrome diagnosed after detecting CSF antibodies (Kopczak et al. 2017) and confirming their relevance to autoimmunity.
