CDHR5 and liver cancer: Studies of CDHR5 in renal cell carcinoma, colorectal cancers and liver cancer have consistently revealed low expression of CDHR5 on the tumour cell surface, and further mechanism researches disclosed that the dominating protein CDHR5‐M could retain β‐catenin on cell membrane via its PDZ domain, resulting in inhibition of Wnt/β‐catenin signalling pathway and down‐regulation of tumour proliferation.12, 13, 14
