These can include: epigenetic modification, such as via restoration of normal methylation status or upregulation of p53 proteins [45]; improved insulin sensitivity with resistance identified as a mediator between increased height or weight and lymphoma risk [21]; reduction of inflammatory cytokines via obesity reduction and lower levels of the ASC protein [45]; and various other biologic etiologies.
